Video Analysis - A dime a dozen

In this scene Biff is reaching out to Willy to let the dreams and past of how he use to be go. For the simple reason he didn't want to continue his life as a lie like his father did, he wanted to let go of the things that caused his downfall in life why he couldn't find himself at such an old age where he should have already found himself. And he wants his father to let him go in one peace so he can find himself. Biff is tired of running around stealing stuff from people, he wants stability. He sees how much affect he has on his father especially with his actions and not becoming the star he always him to be. Biff needed to go out and start life anew now he realised what he was doing and it was wrong and stopped. And in order for him to accomplish that he had to have his father's consent, so that when he went out into the world again he wont feel guilty for leaving his father especially with that false dream in his mind. He was finally becoming a man in the sense that, he was owning up to his responsibility and placed his faults and his fathers faults on the table so there could be no more lies and everyone could move on with a clean slate.
